General Motors

The motor industry is changing. And it’s changing fast. General Motors are leading the charge, committing to complete carbon neutrality by 2040 and eliminating tail-pipe emissions from light-duty vehicles by 2035.

The finish of the future

As one of the most energy-intensive, water-intensive, and environmentally hazardous aspects of a vehicle production line, paint was always going to be a problem on that sustainability journey.

We met with GM’s CEO and Head of Innovation to explain how AERO could provide the solution.

Our paints are VOC-free, produce zero CO2 and require no water. As for performance, they look better and last longer than traditional paints.

A partnership begins

Nothing pushes paint to its limits like motorsports, so to test and prove our paints we first applied AERO to GM’s Corvette Racing cars.

The result proved that AERO is a genuine solution for the future of vehicle manufacturing. We’re now part of General Motor’s roadmap towards environmental sustainability, sharing our expertise and creating performance paints that are kinder to the planet.
